Guangzhou Design Week 2020

Looking Back: A Creative Celebration

Over 300 days have passed since the 2020 Guangzhou Design Week, but the energy of that creative collision still lingers. As 2021 approached, Benjamin Moore invited visitors to revisit the vibrancy and spirit of its 2020 Experience Pavilion—a space that blended color, design, and emotion.

Theme: “See the Love”

Held from December 3–6, 2020, the pavilion was centered on the theme “See the Love.” It offered a multi-dimensional interpretation of beauty in color and architecture. The space encouraged visitors—both professional designers and general audiences—to encounter beauty, feel joy, and embrace hope through a refreshing, emotionally resonant design narrative.

Immersive Spatial Storytelling

With a semi-open layout, the pavilion formed a modern geometric structure. Every painted surface, whether real or implied, served as a subtle storyteller—demonstrating the product’s application, versatility, and finish. It provided a hands-on experience of Benjamin Moore’s advanced coating technology integrated into home environments.

Color Highlight: Burnt Russet

The pavilion embraced the 2021 trend color, Burnt Russet, creating a warm and grounded atmosphere. Its distinctive design concept attracted many industry professionals. For those who had long followed the paint and coatings field, the Benjamin Moore pavilion delivered more than just design inspiration—it was an unexpected delight.
